Here is some Imindain. I figure some funeral doom is apt for this evening.

This song is much better though I thought the title of the above song was more appropriate to the tone of the evening. . .

Never thought I'd see this kind of thing on Oppo.

Imindain is pretty good, but for some reason I never really got into them. Not sure why, because I've liked everything I've heard from them. Big fan of Evoken, Ahab, Asunder, and Hierophant though.

Speaking of Asunder, their split with Graves at Sea is incredible. Their a little more towards the sludge side, but very doomy indeed:

I totally forgot about Asunder. I am also a fan of Graves At Sea, although it has been a while since I've listened to them. It actually has been a long while since I've listened to the really heavy sludgy doom. I've been getting back into black metal again, but I think I'm going to have to revisit this as I forgot how much I enjoy it.

Imindain is the first funeral doom band I really got into, and I really enjoy them. And Men Shall Serve. . . is a fucking phenomenal album.

Just came back across this EP today and thought of this thread. I've got to say, I think it's the best piece of funeral doom I've ever come across. I'm already a Cephalic Carnage fan, but for their much, much different usual works.

It's a one track EP that's supposed to be the first of three — even though it's been 12 years since this was released. I talked to a few of the dudes after a show and they confirmed that they were working on the next installment, but couldn't say when it would be done.

It's definitely worth a listen. It's not so one dimensional as your typical pigeon holed doom band.
